Some Famous Bollywood Actress who left Acting Career after Marriage:

Asin Thottumkal Sharma

She belongs in the young actresses’ category and left all hearts broken after getting married to Rahul Sharma, CEO of Micromax in 2016. Despite being a successful actress in South Indian films, it is her debut in Bollywood film’s Ghajini that helped her built an army of fans. That film was followed by super hits like; Ready, Housefull 2, and Khiladi 786. It has been 2 years since her marriage and we must say we miss this powerhouse of talent on the big screen.

Twinkle Khanna

She is now a famous interior designer, columnist, and author. But there’s no way 90s kids can forget this beauty in films like Joru Ka Ghulam or Jab Pyaar Kisi Hota hai opposite Salman Khan. She left her acting career after getting married to the nation’s no.1 Khiladi; Akshay Kumar, leaving so many of her fans still waiting for more.

Genelia D’Souza

Our very own Aditi from Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, married actor Ritesh Deshmukh in 2012 and ever since that she has been taking care of her lovely family. As much as we love to follow her life on Instagram, there are still fans out there who wish that she comes back with a bang somehow. A talent like her is surely missed.

Sonali Bendre

This beauty decided to quit her acting career after getting married to Bollywood director Goldie Behl in 2002. But who can forget her grace and charm in films like Hum Saath Saath Hain or Sarfarosh. Her song “Iss deewane ladke ko koi samjhaye” still gets us humming. She made a few special appearances in films recently and was also seen as a judge/host on TV reality shows.

She became the nation’s sweetheart with just one film called Maine Pyaar Kiya and quit acting soon after just at the age of 19. The only statement that came of her after she got married to Himalaya was “I sacrificed for the person I love the most” and we couldn’t help but go “aww”.

Neetu Singh/Kapoor

She began her acting career as a child artist and went on to become a fantastic actress as she grew up. She started dating actor Rishi Kapoor from age 14 and the duo got married 7 years later. She left her acting career just after the marriage and made it clear on “Koffee With Karan” that it was purely her decision. Years later she made a stellar come back in Do Dooni Chaar opposite her husband itself and made us all realize what we missed all these years.
